9/4/2024 - Brooksville, FL Back home and unpacked.  What a great trip.  A quick summary: Days away - 35 Total miles driven - 6620 Miles pulling 5th wheel - 4384 States visited - 17 Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvannia, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusets, Maine, Vermont, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama Best RV Park - Eastport, Maine, right on the St. Croix river that separates the US and Canada. Best scenery - Vermont, very beautiful

 9/3/2024 - Perry KOA Nice drive across the Florida panhandle today.  We were able to catch up with friends (old neighbors from Lutz) for lunch in Perry.  Haven't seen Ron and Dixie in a long time. The Perry KOA is very nice, we were able to snag a spot in the very back of the property that backs up to a huge pasture.  We have our own patio with table and umbrella as well as a gas BBQ grill and swith that faces the pasture - should be a great sunset spot. This is the final night of our Maine Trip 2024 adventure.  I'll summarize mileage and states in a final blog tomorrow.  

 9/1/2024 - Gulf Shores / Pensacolo West KOA Holiday A nice drive through the rest of Alabama today, crossed into Florida and back to Alabama to this campground.  Very beautiful place, right on Perdido bay, we walked down to the water and sat in a swing to enjoy the view. Went to lunch also on the beach (The Crab Trap) - had a huge Bairdi Crab (Snow Crab) that we shared, still was almost too much food!!  This crab was actually better than the lobster we had in Maine. 9/3/2024 - Sunrise over Perdido Bay this morning.  We were up early in Central Time as we are heading back into Eastern time and will lose an hour - we have lunch plans with friends when we arrive in Perry, FL.
